Hi! I was born and raised in Houston and although my immediate family has moved out to the Hill Country near Austin, the rest of the crowd is still in Houston. I enjoy Texas for its cosmopolitan atmosphere and friendliness. Houston has changed so so much since we lived ther--it's a megalopolis!--and I feel much more comfortable in Austin now.
I don't ever remember any of the "little lady" business--that's more common in Georgia, where I live now.
