i think that it should be up to the members of the alumnae chapter on what they'd like to do. for instance, if they'd like to have a semi-formal dinner for the chapter, then they should do it.

plan out what everyones goals are, where they see this chapter going and what they'd like their money to go to. that will help put everyone on the same page.

and i think if you want a good turn out from fresh alums (one's that just graduated) make sure that the alumnae chapter DOES NOT get involved with any political aspects of the active chapter. stay neutral... be swizterland!
