I am also a chapter founder. Our situation was a little different - we were a local sorority - but the local had just been founded the semester before I joined, so everything was still very new. It's a lot of hard work to start something new - you have to set up your chapter's infrastructure, put together some philanthropy work, rush in some new members, etc., all while completing your own new member program - and somewhere in there you have to go to classes! But it's so worth it - I had such a feeling of accomplishment and pride when I signed that charter.
