nope, cutiepatootie, it's CSU Northridge. There seems to always be rumors about various CSUs becoming UCs but they are just opening UCMerced so I think that is taking all the attention right now. I don't know, I really can't see the UC Regents taking a highly popular and successful CSU and making it a UC... it seems almost unfair to the CSUs.
Sorry, I have this conversation with a cousin all time who swears his CSU is going to become a UC.
