In re: JAM
A salute to a Lady who could always be counted upon to say a kind word, to offer encouragement, to listen to hurts and disappointments and to apply the salve of gentleness and understanding. JAM is much more than "Just" a Mom, she is truly a Lady. I will miss her wisdom and her unfailing ability to make us smile when we, my troopers and I, were deployed to a less than pleasant place under somewhat less than ideal conditions. I owe her a debt of gratitude for her real and effective support. Thank you, JAM, I shall miss you and I hope that you will check up on us from time to time with a welcome word or two.
