I'm right there with you, Lion Tamer. Bare midriffs may impress the guys across the street but they don't belong in ceremonial attire. As a province officer, I used to bring extra white dresses to convention and if any of my delegates were not suitably attired (meaning opaque and not something that should be worn to a club instead of church), they got to wear one of my extras for the Memorial service (no one from my province showed her purple polka-dot thong to the entire convention body!) That may be old-fashioned but a certain respect should be shown for the tradition of those ceremonies where we specify attire.
