Y'all, thanks so much for all of your prayers. I know that they're working because I felt really calm today during the amnio. It wasn't great fun, but it wasn't terrible. I begged the ultrasound technician to tell me the sex of the baby before the actual amnio so I would have some good news to focus on. It took forever to get the baby to cooperate. She even resorted to tapping on my belly to stimulate some movement. Then, we saw that it was a boy! So, even though it's going to take about three weeks to get the results back from the amnio, I can concentrate on picking out things for the nursery and looking for cute boy things. My husband is absolutely thrilled to be having a son. I am still a little stunned because I had a gut tfeeling that it was a girl. I am such a "girlie girl" ... I have no idea what to do with a little boy.
Anyway, I just wanted to thank you again for the prayers. I will certainly let you know as soon as I get the test results back!
