The Kappa Phi Club has something like a fine for not being under a certain amount of sisters. If a chapter has less than 14 sisters they are supposed to pay a certain amount for each sister they don't have (if that makes any sense). However, I don't remember our chapter ever paying those dues. I think it's a way to keep up retention and recruitment.
