R&B diva Beyonce Knowles has postponed her wedding to rapper Jay-Z to star in an autobiographical movie about her rise to the top.
The Crazy In Love singer planned to marry Jay-Z next year but has put the nuptials on hold after signing a $22m (€17.9m) deal to film her life story, which she hopes will help her fulfil her fantasy of winning an Oscar.
A close friend says: "Beyonce is very much in love and does want to make the ultimate commitment to Jay-Z by marrying him. But it will have to wait because she is snowed under with recording and beginning to think about the new movie."
Film executives plan to start filming in October. A child actress will play Beyonce up to the age of 16, when the star will step in.

Dear Beyonce,
Did you see 'Glitter'? If you did you know that a movie loosely based on your life story will not work. Do you really think that your acting skills are so great that you can carry an entire movie? i.e Carmen. Why would I pay $7 to see a movie about your life when I can just watch VH1 Driven: Beyonce for free? Please stick to looking fine and doing bit parts in movies. If the Oscars were for looking fine, you'd be a multiple winner. But since they are for acting, cross tha from your list.
