You sing "Candlelighting Time".
The first time around is for best wishes.
The second time around is for pinned or lavaliered.
The third time around is for pearled or pre-engaged.
The fourth time around is for engaged.
We also do a fifth time around at a wedding and it's done during the reception. The bride and groom are in the center and all of the Alpha Gams gather around them on the dance floor. (I've been to at least a dozen sister's weddings and it's just beautiful.)
For our advisors, we added one more time around for someone expecting a baby.
And FYI, you sing the song ONCE and then hum it softly the next time(s) around.
