For a little more "parent-friendly" 21st birthday present, I have a suggestion. (I know my mom would wonder a bit if I got a shot glass for my 21st). For my 21st last week, my boyfriend got me a sterling silver heart pendant engraved with my name on the front and "21" on the back. Its really simple, but something that's really memorable that I will keep always as a reminder of this birthday.
