How much are their memberships?
I usually just go to the Blackhawk Fitness Center in Hoffman Estates. My subdivision is in the HE park district since they were closer than the Schaumburg one back in the 70's when my townhouse was built. Of course Schaumburg built a huuuuuuge fitness center maybe 2 miles away in the 1990s.... Blackhawk has three treadmills, four ellipticals, four bikes, two stair machines, twenty(-five?) Nautalis machines, free weights, and a small track. It's not huuuuuge, but it's been pretty empty this summer. I'll see how it usually is when I'm trying to exercise at 5 p.m. or on Saturdays in the fall...
