actually not so weird, more common than you think-
i had a friend that didn't burn with condoms but immediately made her lose all her natural lubrication she talked to her gyno and she suggest lambskin condoms (I think???)
anyway she hasnt any problems since.
you may be allergic to the nonoxoyl 9 they put on on them too, if so just get the non lubricated ones and use a lubricant like KY Jelly or Astroglide.
