I was a coxswain in college, and there was always a little undercurrent of pressure to at least maintain weight (120 is the minimum for NCAA Division I Men's, Women's is 110), and they want you as close to that as possible.
Be careful no tto deprive yourself of too much though, that tends to cause people to fall off the wagon. You can have these things, just don't have them all the time. Keeping up the exercise is the main thing, because that will trump all in the longrun. Good luck.
