I'm glad this thread was bumped, 'cause I wanted to add that I've done some field research, and my conclusion is . . . boys only like me when I'm ugly.
Every single time I've hooked up this summer, I was wearing jeans and a tee shirt and next to no makeup, and more often than not my hair looked like isht. (I have guy friends who are in the habit of saying, "Okay, you're coming out to the bars with us. We'll pick you up in ten minutes.") And every time I took the time to get all dolled up? No play.
I'm just sayin'.
