Wow...some of y'all actually liked the food?
The food wasn't horrible, but it didn't agree with my stomach most of the time...hello? Strawberry soup with mint?
One of the girls in my chapter doesn't eat meat but will eat seafood. Her registration showed that she had been flagged with vegetarian meals, and while other vegetarians got nice pasta dishes, tell me why she was given a plate of cold spaghetti with no sauce? The server even had the nerve to try and pour the strawberry dressing (that was supposed to be for the salad) on her spaghetti? The whole time she was thinking, "I paid money for this?"
In my opinion the food was much better in Atlanta. I was so glad to have my first burger/hot dog/pizza (whatever was NOT salad) after Convention.
Went to Tavern on Rush last night with greeklawgirl and I went to heaven. Of course it wasn't the 95th floor of the Hancock building, but it'll do.
Back to Navy Pier to get fat today!
