What's a shinee semester?
Is it the first semester as an initiated member maybe?
If that's the case; my chapter did have a tendacy (sp?) to give new members certain positions as stepping stones to higher positions. Panhellenic Delegate was the probably the most important one we'd give to a n.m. Also sisterhood chair, sports chair, public relations, and assistant pledge mom were pretty favorable.
As a n.m. I would definitely interview the sisters that currently have the positions you want and ask them how much work is really involved. A lot of positions not only have to organize tons of things but file reports too. Make sure what your taking on will fit into your busy schedule.
