Technically, we have +/- 197 chapters but about +/-86 that are dormant.

The good thing however, is that Sigma Kappa is now going to not only expand & open new chapters, we are also going to recolonize at many of the dormant ones too!

This information is as accurate as of 2001 so of course the numbers have changed. I'm just not sure as to how much it's changed. I'll have to ask HQ.
