I noticed in the DZ forum they also do not have any chapters that start w/ Eta. Also, they skipped Mu and Nu.
What happens if you get all the way through Omega w/ the double-letter indication? Do you start over w/ Alpha and do a triple-letter name? I've never seen any chapters w/ a triple letter.
Wouldn't it be cool if you were the Alpha Xi Delta chapter of Alpha Xi Delta?
Seriously though, we do have quite a few inactive chapters. It seems that we lost a lot of chapters in the '60s, '70s and '80s. Instead of colonizing on new campuses, I'd love to do a bunch of recolonizations at the campuses where we had to close.
