I must not have been clear when I stated that he leads a very private life outside of work. For that, I'm sorry. Let me be more specific:
He only talks about work at work. He keeps his life outside of work very private. And since I can tell he takes great effort to do this I don't know how to approach him about these subjects he obviously avoids.
