Don't mean to crash, but I wanted to say congratulations to DPhiE for Danielle's success. I've worked in several national preliminaries to Miss Universe and all of the directors are always impressed by Trinidad & Tobago's delegates. Although it certainly helped that Wendy Fitzwilliam (the second Miss Universe from T&T) and Mpule Kwelagobe (Miss Universe crowned in T&T in 1999) were on the panels, Danielle stood out throughout the competition for her genuine character and grace. Several of the delegates returning from the contest talked about her personal loss (I believe her mother passed away some time before the pageant) and how she was exceptionally composed about it. Although those of us in the Miss Venezuela camp were devastated by the final placements (our candidate, Ana Karina Anez, was the first to be eliminated in 22 years) everyone is very happy for Danielle's success. She will be the last Miss Trinidad & Tobago from her organization and has been a great credit to the Miss Universe system and to your sorority. Congratulations!
