Actually, I think it works BETTER than traditional core workouts! The thing with the ball is, not only does it assist in toning up your abs, but helps with balance, and posture. Like someone else said, if you have back pain, just sit on the ball while you're on the computer or something, it really does help!!
And mine was only $12. Best workout item I've ever bought!
