Yeah...
Well, most orgs don't officially recognize or encourage these types of programs...
But the reality is, it happens...
For many who are involved, it's very rewarding...
Of course, there are those of you who don't care for it... And that's okay... That's your right...
But it does happen...
It's ironic that there's 2 LBSU greeks here that frown upon it...
There are more than 1 AOPI big sis's in TKE here... One of them you might know...
But those are usually the few guys who talk to AOPi's...
I don't even think we have any Sigma Kappas in our big/little programs... We don't really hang out with Sigma Kappas...
And I don't mean to sound condescending either, but I can almost guarantee that you would appreciate it more if you had a big bro from a fraternity that you really liked hanging out with...
If you don't have one, then of course, it gets annoying...
I do know that the other "big" sororities on our campus participate very much in these programs... Including my Big Sis's... Delta Gamm of course...
I just got my little bro (who was a pledge this last spring) a GPhiB big sis, and they take it VERY SERIOUSLY...
But yeah, i'm totally aware that on a national level, it's not looked highly upon... But it does happen, and people do benefit from it...
BUT NO, I DO NOT WEAR Delta Gamma LETTERS! That would make me look gay... The relationship and what we share is enough for me!
