My daddy used to be a strategic services consultant. He mostly worked for the government but always via a private company. He took a buyout in 2001 and now he doesn't have to work
. This is wonderful because when I was growing up he travelled five days a week and was stressed all the time. Now he works out, goes out on the boats, works on the house, and is super-duper involved in lots of church stuff. Also sometimes he gets mad at George Bush/Dick Cheney/Rummy/Karl Rove etc. and then he gets drunk and throws things at the TV and yells at them. (only when really bad things happen like Republicans winning elections or the start of a war that my daddy doesn't agree with). The dog thinks the yelling is because he did something wrong so he goes and sits outside while my dad throws things at Republicans. It's all pretty amusing to watch.
My mommy is a yoga teacher and holistic medicine practicioner. She is also an accomplished organic cook.
