I got mine pierced this past december. I had wanted to get it done in high school, but couldn't because I was on poms and we couldn't wear them when we competed. The actual piercing part definitly hurt and then it felt and looked kinda weird for the next week or two, but now I forget its there. I haven't had any problems with infection which suprises me because my ears are very sensitive and get infected a ton. So, as far as my experience has gone, I've loved having it!
