Would you still join a GLO despite all the negativity?

I believed most of the stereotypes up until I joined my colony. I joined because I had the opportunity to be there in the beginning to ensure that we weren't just another fraternity stereotype. There were a few very serious hazing/alcohol injuries and crimes that occured on my campus around that time with other organizations -- namely, a young man (under 21) had his hip crushed because he had passed out in the middle of the road at a campsite. He was run over by one of the brothers (he lived though). Another involved a party at a certain fraternity house (they've since reformed) that was broken up by the GLO Advisor. Besides the drinking under 21 going on there, the keg drinks were being poured by a 14 year old girl.

In many cases, the stereotypes on my campus were true. Since then, I've seen a lot of reform amongst the fraternities on campus (although I know for a fact that there are still problems with some). My chapter, however, is not one of those problem organizations.
