greetings my family,
i didnt know darren too long, but the time that i did know him he was like a mentor to me and my young life as a brother of Iota.
i thought it would be fitting to share this little story of mine:
one time me, darren and some iota family members were making a road trip to a VCU step show. i had saw a brown shirt that i thought looked very nice and me being the good iota brother that i was, told him that "im going to get that shirt from you"
darren of course laughed it off holding on tightly to that shirt.
the day of his wake, his "P" was handed down to the attending brothers. I reached in to the box not know what i had gotten my hands on. when i got to my brothers car, i opened up the shirt and i saw it was the same shirt that i told darren i was going to take from him. A tear came down my eye as i looked in to the sky and said "i told you i would get it darren."
It was just something i wanted to share with the family.
