For real home style Italian- Clemente's in Lincoln Park

My favorites for Steak:
1897 Smokehouse in Trenton: in a beautifully restored historic home across from the old Riverside hospital, very elegant
Sportsman's Den: the restaurant attached to Riverview Highlands
The original chef from Sportsman's Den opened the 1897 Smokehouse so the food is very similar, just different atmospheres (and prices)

Hickey's: especially on piano wars nights!

I totally agree with Mexican Fiesta and Sportsman's Den.

I forgot to say Portofino on the River. I went there the other day and we sat in the glassed in room on the deck that's right on the water. They have the best food.... and the best Ranch Dressing!

Dolce Vita is up there too. I have to throw that one in since my dad is there everyday and it's teh only place my family goes out to dinner. And my dad almost bought it.
