Umm, you're right about Richard Harris (original Dumbledore) dying, but he was not replaced by Ian McKellen, who played Gandalf in LOTR. Dumbledore is now played by Michael Gambon.

chideltjen -- What you said about the director wanting to focus on time, I thought that was pretty cool, too. I liked the big clock they kept showing, except that that wasn't in the first movies! I don't like how they changed the look of Hogwarts all around...

With the time-turner, I don't think they showed enough of Hermione just randomly appearing and disappearing before classes. There needed to be more of a lead-up to the time turner than there was.
