Actually you take the Orange line in and go around "the Loop" to State and Lake. Get off and look for the steps going down to the Red line, use the same metro card (only .30 more) and go up to the stop on Grand. OR once you get off the Orange line at State and Lake, go down to the street, hail a cab and ask for the Marriott on Grand off of Michigan. Cab ride is $5 tops.
