1. Light rail and buses run by Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART).

2. If you can get to the Park-and-Ride or the nearest light rail stop, it'll get you easily to downtown. But if your travel requires a transfer or two, it's a major pain in the ass. Plus, you can connect to the Trinity Railway Express to downtown Fort Worth.

3. Runs frequently, but the light rail routing appears to have been designed by committee.

4. Rail travel is composed of all classes of people, no stigma for those who use it. However, those who rely on commuting to areas that are not served by bus or light rail are screwed; they hafta put up with rush-hour traffic.

5. The equipment and travel is relatively safe.
