There are a lot of shoulds and woulds wrapped up in the "one" concept. I think a lot of people end their lives realizing it wasn't the one. At best maybe they married someone they would have been better off as friends with.

I've got to agree with James on this one. I get SO sick of people running around talking about how they're in love and they've found "THE ONE" - just to see them break up or get divorced a week, a month, a year or a decade later. And then they try to deny that they ever thought it was the one. Give me an f-ing break...
