Water is DEFINITELY essential in weight loss, but (unless you decide to join Jenny Craig/Weight Watchers) keeping a journal of what you eat is a great way to see exactly what goes into your body.

Sometimes, it can be a pain to record your daily food intake, but it also shows you where your "problem areas" may be. For example-I've noticed that in the morning, yogurt/fruit/cereal will hold me over, but around the afternoon I seem to crave (and eat) more fried/fattening foods. The journal isn't something that you have to do for the rest of your life (try it for about 2-3 months), but if you start to see an unhealthy pattern, ELIMINATE IT!! This will help you to change bad eating habits.

Let me know of any progress, and GOOD LUCK!!
