Soror Sweet Deliverance is correct...the most appropriate thing to do would be to introduce yourself to a member of Zeta from that chapter. Since you could not attend the informational, they have no clue you are interested, therefore you would not be in consideration for MIP at this time. There is nothing wrong with explaining to a Soror (especially the MIP coordinator or the president of the chapter) why you missed the informational, and to offer to take my Soror to lunch so that you may discuss what you missed during the informational and determine next steps.
