OutKast's Andre 3000 to Star in Movie

LOS ANGELES - A member of OutKast has landed his first starring role in a movie. Andre 3000 will star in a currently untitled film that is scheduled to begin shooting in September.
The movie, to be filmed in New Orleans, is set in the mid-'70s. Andre's character, an upper-middle-class musical prodigy who is drawn to a lower-class white woman, has to deal with pressure from both families to end the interracial relationship.
