i would probably try to do a search online- my house used to be haunted- but we had to have someone come in and exorcise it- it was pretty scary- it happened some years ago- i just remember her saying some chants- burning different kinds of inscence for like hours and hours- it took forever- she had to bless the house- it took a long time.... i'd talk to the nearby church too- my grandpa was a minister and had done exorcisms before- my mom has too under advice from my grandpa- but that ghost was particularly violent... so you have to be careful....
when and where did you see the ghost- whats the history of the house? maybe you could check with the historical society records or something to find out what happened
i feel ghosts.. and i just knwo they are there- my neighbors house and property is haunted- but its a ghost of a young lady and a teenage boy- they don't really bother me too much- i try to talk to them too- maybe that will help pm me if you want- i'll do anything i can
my sorority's house is haunted too- by our old housemother- i get freaked out by her from time to time- but i try to talk to her too- that usually works
