IHQ says that hose are required for the Epsilon Pi Banquet/Initiation. My white shoes that I currently wear for Initiation are thong sandals (they're dressy, though), and I can't wear hose with them. I don't really want to buy new white shoes just for Convention. Is it a big deal if I don't wear hose?
At the Ritual Q&A we had with Deedee Smith Evans, I remember her telling us that hose was necessary for anyone wearing open toed shoes. Hose was optional if you wore close toed shoes. That cleared up so many questions from so many chapters (including mine) because it was always my understanding that open toed shoes were no-nos. Come to find out, it was just a former Chapter Advisor's thing.

Still, I bought a $9.99 pair of butt ugly white shoes from Payless for Atlanta, and I'm probably gonna give them an encore performance for Chicago.
