Year's ago I sent a letter to Darnell Williams...Jesse on All My Children (if you aren't old enough Angie (played by Debbie Morgan) & Jessie were the first young black couple to have a major storyline on a soap & I was a huge fan). Well imagine my surprise when he wrote me back!!! I was on cloud nine for days...and yes I still have the autographed picture in my photo album. Whenever I pull it out I remember how happy that picture made me.
And yes I'm old enough to know he probably didn't write the letter himself but an assistant but at the time you coudln't tell me anything!!
I also wrote a couple of letters to Right On! that were published in the letters to the editor!
