Alumnus is correct - there is no uniform standard you can apply towards any fraternity or sorority. Each chapter on each campus will be different. The best thing is to go through Recruitment with an open mind and make the decision that is best for you.
At my 'home' campus, the Sigma Kappa chapter had only 7 members the year I pledged. Years later they are the second largest group on campus (close to 60 members). Chapters and the types of women in them change through the years - you can't base your opinions on hearsay.
