I have heard rummors of something going on, but was not updated!

If and if that was the only infraction, then it may be minor, depending on the Rules of the School!

LXA MIT has been around a very long time and if they are in violation of the Rules that were laid out not only by the International and The School, then they must suffer the consiquensious of Penality and or suspension.
