But it's not techinally a mascot, it's just a symbol that we use on our badge and crest. Now, most chapters will go and get a real snake as a mascot.

It has a meaning behind it, but of course i'm not gonna share that with y'all that don't know

Our chapter actually has a mascot. It's a stuffed snake named Charlie. I think it was originally given to one of our members by either an Alpha Xi Delta or Delta Zeta (can't remember). Since then, it's spent time (stolen) at both of their chapter houses and even resided somewhere down in Texas for awhile.

Charlie's back now and kept in a secret location -- if I told you, I'd have to kill you.

But how's this: "Unofficial" mascot..?
