My mother's a nurse and has a bit of dry humor. She says, "I didn't want to believe this, but in my older age I've come to believe that we are not only oppressed (just being black we're oppressed), but many of us are also mentally ill and don't even know it. So we go around creating drama everywhere we go."
I laughed when she said this because I know she's serious, but trying to be a comedian about it at the same time. So I've sinced coined the term "OMIs," Oppressed and Mentally Ill.
