I, like hottytoddy, almost went to a different school. I was enrolled at Auburn and had a dorm room. The campus there is ok. But the school is about the only thing in the town. It looks like a trailer park in the middle of a cow pasture.
Then, a few months before school started I went to U of AL to visit. It was love at first site. In my opinion Bama has the most beautiful campus. I'm so glad I came to Bama. I am reminded this every time I visit Auburn. There is no place like T'town.
Auburn has some beautiful buildings. But Bama's whole campus is full of beautiful buildings that look like they were taken right off a plantation.
