@ NoworNever (HAAAY GURL!), I had considered doing the lasik eye surgery at one point, but I would be to scared to do that. I would be thinking, if they messed up...you can't get another pair of eyes!

Had lasik done nearly 5 years ago. . . didn't have any problems, but just remember as well, having the surgery doesn't guarantee that you'll NEVER wear glasses again. I wore glasses since I was nine years old, and for me, a day without wearing them maade the surgery worth it! As a matter of fact, astigmatism is recurring, so now instead of wearing one pair of glasses, I now have 2! One pair for the computer (I practically live on it at work) and one pair for distance vision, although I don't wear either pair all the time. I actually just got the ones for distance vision less than a week ago.
1SD, I felt the same way as you about the lasik surgery, and knowing what I know now, I don't know if I'd do it again.
