"One of Eta's (chapter) most enthusiastic workers and a former editor of Anchora, Abby Soule, had made a please in Anchora March, 1887, for a reunion day for Delta Gamma. Eta probably introduced the subject at Convention and spoke of the custom in that chapter of observing March 15th, the date on their charter as their reunion day.
Convention decreed that one day be set aside for an annual reunion, a day all chapters should observe. As a tribute to our oldest living chapter which had contributed so much for Delta Gamma, March 15 was chosen."

And on this day 125 years ago.....Eta Chapter at The University of Akron became a chapter!!
We celebrated with over 150 members (including 3 - 50 year members present) in attendance.
