At the school i went to, each sorority had a suite in a dorm. there were four dorms that had suites, usually between 3-5 suites in a dorm. they consisted of a large room, a kitchen, an office, and closets. every member of the chapter had access to their own suite 24/7, they were ours. i can't remember if the university had any specific rules, but i do know that each chapter had a set of rules for their suite. we weren't allowed to have mixer-type events in the suites, but we could have chapter events in there. there was supposed to be a rule against members of the opposite sex allowed in there, but it wasn't too closely followed.
