J. Lo ain't black. Not to me, anyway.
What do I think? I think it's wrong. But I think that a rush of letters or calls from African-American listeners would only reinforce how hypocritical
some of us are, because I also think it's wrong when I hear it from
anybody's mouth, black or otherwise. I haven't noticed another huge letter-writing campaign against the numerous black artists who use the word... so truthfully, why should J. Lo or her record company execs listen to what we have to say?
