I don't suggest going to Stanford... I grew up in Palo Alto and some of my first "college party" experiences happened there... it is not the type of greek system this dude is looking for... TRUST ME greek system at stanford is *fairly* small... Berkely is your best bet... (and is closer to San Francisco in good traffic) They acutally have nice big houses and such to have parties and everything... and larger chapters. To answer James' question.. UOP is about 2 hours from San Francisco in Stockton.. (AKA the only semi -big city in cowtown) I don't know much about the greek system there... but in general most Northern Cali schools don't have large great traditional greek systems... (especially the schools in the San Fran. Bay area)
