Last year (I think it was Fall Cruise) we also had kind of a casino night with games like 21, and poker (using gaming chips, not money)... It was successful, esp. because there were prizes (like DVDs, gift cards, and stuff). Plus it's classy since you're all dressed up anyway.
It's nice to have some sort of diversion, esp. for people (like me) who might not bring a date. My boyfriend is long distance so sometimes it just doesn't work out for him to get to Seattle.
