MAGIC'S GIVING AWAY MONEY! No he's not, but he's got a new debit card

(Feb. 18, 2004) *Magic Johnson is always making moves, and he's just made another one. He has announced plans for the MagicCash Visa Debit Card.
A product of Magic Cards International, Inc., a subsidiary of Celebrity Cards International, Inc., the cards’ target audience is the 70-80 million under -banked and credit challenged individuals in the US alone.
Celebrity Cards’ philosophy is to market the cards through outsourcing to leaders in each industry; partners in this project include Bank of America, VISA, and AMN Television Marketing, the largest direct response company in the country, and West Telemarketing.
The launch of the national advertising campaign for the MagicCash Card is the second week of April with the national rollout of the card following.
A foundation is being established to fund free financial management training, credit counseling and to assist in helping MagicCash card holders to build credit.
An official announcement of the Magic Johnson MagicCash Visa Debit Card will be made next week in Los Angeles
